In the changing of the seasons, we notice a natural inclination to turn inward, to be quieter, more internal, less active, or may even experience lowness, grief, sadness, or despair. This is a natural and necessary phase for all of life in this world, where we are guided and shaped by the seasons as seen through hibernation, dormancy, death, and darker days. We are in the process of remembering the importance of adhering to seasonal guidance, even when the invitation is into the depths that may feel mysterious or unsettling. We can arrive at a place of meeting and beholding the totality of ourselves and grow in our capacity to face and feel all of the aspects of our human experience including those experiences so many of us avoid such quiet, stillness, and solitude -- and the lonliness, grief, and fear that may be on that path. On the other side is peace, clarity, release and relief, and grounded presence and even comfort and renewal.

This is an active, experiential retreat which will include curated teachings, group and pair sharing, a range of meditation and visualization experiences, interactive processes as well as ceremony, ritual. There will also be an easy yet rich crafting experience using natural materials to bring home with you a gift to support you through the winter season and beyond.
